Meet Alexis

Alexis was in an unhealthy relationship and fearful. She visited us and told us her intention to move forward with her abortion decision. Our client advocates listened and were understanding. Alexis went through with the procedure. She was relieved to not feel sick anymore, but simultaneously felt empty inside. She was heartbroken. She struggled with her self-worth and emotionally closed herself off to her decision. After working closely with ACPC and finding renewed strength through God, Alexis is now ready to help other women cope with their own post-abortion anguish and support them on their road to emotional healing.

You're Not Alone

Many women experience an immediate feeling of relief following an abortion. Some struggle with their decision right away. As time passes, many find themselves trying to cope with feelings they did not expect. It is common for women to have difficulty talking about these feelings, and many feel isolated and alone.
